The trees are turning color and winter will soon be upon us.  It is time for the Wilton Winter Festival.  The date is set for December 5, 2015 this year.  This is the seventh year we have done the Festival and we hope that you will all come out and spend the day with us.  Our flyer is posted on our web with the agenda for the day.

This year the Dillard Elementary School GATE Program is doing the luncheon for us and the Fireman’s Association is preparing a hardy Breakfast for everyone.  There will be plenty of Vendor booths.

A special Note to our Schools and Organizations; this is a great time for children to get their COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS accomplished or SPECIAL CLASS OR SCHOOL PROJECTS done.  We encourage you to share this information with your students and groups.  They can have vendor booths showing their shop or class projects and even sell them if they want.

We are holding our PARADE again this year and if you are interested in participating in this event there is a form posted on our website at www.sacparks.net.  Look for the CSA 4-B attachment.  You can fill out the form and return either by mail or by returning or forwarding the form back to Lynn at lynnh4work @gmail.com.

Our event takes place at the Wilton Firehouse and the Fire Department has kindly offered us the use of their building for the day.  Breakfast starts at 7 A.M. and the day is filled with activities including Santa Clause, who is returning to us again for the seventh year in a row.  The children flock to him at the end of the parade.  There will be the usual cookies and hot chocolate after the parade and Wilton’s famous Christmas Tree  will be lit again.  So mark your calendars and meet your friends and neighbors at the WINTER FESTIVAL FOR WILTON.
